Freda and I
As I crawled through the freezing cold trenches,
A chill was sent up my spine.
All I could hear were the sounds of BOMBS, BOOM BAM CRASH,
As one of the bombing planes came crashing down.
Suddenly, everything goes quiet,
Freeda and I lay low in the cold muddy trenches,
After a while,
I poke my head out to see what was happening,
Then out of nowhere I hear a loud BANG,
Then every one got to go home.
In class we read a book called 'The Anzac puppy' by Peter Millett and Trish Bowles then afterwards we had to write a flashback in the perspective of either Sam the soldier, Freda the dog or Lucy the lady that owns the dog, but I chose sam.
Something I thought I did good was adding in the sounds of the bombs and guns like how they are really bold and they stand out, something I need to work on next time is adding more information and being alot more creative
